Maestro

This weekend marked a big step for the boy in social situations. Usually, he is fairly reserved when he's in a place where he doesn't know everyone. He tends to stick close to either myself or William, however this weekend both at our friend's barbeque and at family dim sum on Sunday, he was incredibly outgoing and in rare form with his showing off. It was awesome - he was crawling and walking around, exploring everything that caught his eye. He was especially interested in Julio the rabbit, a windchime and a mirrored wall of bamboo.

Our Sifu's family has an upright piano and being into music, J-Dawg was all over it. It was really interesting that he did not just bang willy nilly on the keys, he really seemed to be deliberately striking specific teeth. He was also very interested in the sheet music. Our musician friends were all very excited and impressed at his fascination with the different sounds each key made.
